Aims & Scope
The core aim of Canadian International Social Work and Policy Review (CISWPR) is to create publishing opportunities for students, practitioners, and early career faculty members from Canada and the world. By publishing open access, the journal encompasses knowledge and promotes collaborative publishing communication in the fields of social work, social welfare, human services, social policy and development, and others.
The journal’s major focus is on international themes in social work and policy studies. The journal encourages upcoming scholars to examine the meanings of international social work and global social policy in both practice and theory situated in specific country and regional contexts.
The journal is a platform to share new, bold, tested ideas and practice innovations from helping professions with peers and policy makers. We welcome diverse stakeholders of social work, social policy and community development to engage with their peers and with others across the disciplines. We invite submissions that create a lasting and positive impact on the well-being and resilience of global communities.
